    Pine Island Station is a Houston -area bluegrass band with punch.  They are a favorite at shows and festivals in

and around the Houston area, and were voted crowd-favorite in the Bluegrass Band Contest in Pasadena, Texas.

They are known for their mix of traditional bluegrass and more contemporary songs, as represented in all their shows.
